McLaren, Ferrari and Force India have joined Lotus in presenting their 2013 cars to the press. Unsurprisingly, they all look quite similar to last year’s, but have hidden stepped-noses. The McLaren was revealed at the McLaren Technology Centre after a drive-past of McLaren cars from yesteryear, the Ferrari at Maranello, and the Force India at glamorous Silverstone.
Here’s the McLaren MP4-28
Here’s the curiously named Ferrari F138
And this is the Force India VJM06
The Force India was presented with only one driver, as the team has yet to announce the second. Furthermore, the team has said it will most likely delay its decision until after the first test which takes place next week. The drive is now expected to go to Jules Bianchi, although Paul di Resta is said to have tweeted a welcome to Bruno Senna, then deleted it forthwith.
Some sources state that Caterham has also decided on its second driver, and it is likely to be Dutchman Giedo van der Garde. Meanwhile, Marussia is strongly tipped to sign Brazilian rookie Luiz Razia, which means Vitaly Petrov is out of a job.
